This Privacy Policy describes how Timby Mobile ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our website at timbymobile.com and our games and apps, including Swipple (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Email address, username, and password when you create an account
• Game Data: Game statistics, scores, progress, and gameplay history
• Communications: Any messages you send through in-app support or contact forms
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Game activity, features used, gameplay duration, and interaction patterns
• Technical Data: IP address, device ID, crash reports, and performance metrics
• Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address (not precise GPS)
• Analytics: Information collected through Google Analytics and similar tools

Information from Third Parties

• Ad Services: Google AdMob collects data for personalized advertising
• Authentication: Google Play Services data if you use social login

Word Suggestions ("Missed a Word?")

Swipple lets you suggest a word for inclusion in the game's dictionary. This feature is entirely optional and sends data only when you choose to submit a word. When you do, we collect:

• The word you selected — letters only, between 3 and 6 characters
• The date and time of the submission
• An identifier for your account, used solely to avoid counting the same word twice from the same player

If you are not signed in — for example when playing offline game modes — an anonymous identifier is created for this purpose only. It is not linked to your name or email address.

Submitted words are stored as an anonymous tally. Words are never published, shown to other players, or associated with your username anywhere in the Services.

Purchases

If you buy an optional upgrade such as the ad-free version, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We record only whether your account is entitled to the upgrade.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Core App Functionality: Create and maintain your account, process and track gameplay, enable multiplayer features, review suggested words for inclusion in the game's dictionary, determine whether your account has purchased an upgrade
• Improvement & Analytics: Analyze usage patterns to improve the Services, debug technical issues, develop new features
• Communications: Send you important updates about the Services, respond to support requests, send promotional content (with your consent)
• Advertising: Deliver personalized ads through Google AdMob, measure ad effectiveness
• Safety & Legal: Prevent fraud and unauthorized access, comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. However, we share information with:

• Google Play Services — Account authentication, multiplayer
• Google Play Billing — Processing in-app purchases
• Google AdMob — Advertising & analytics
• Google Analytics — Usage analytics
• Firebase — Backend services & data storage

4. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion
• Game Statistics: Retained for competitive leaderboard purposes
• Word Suggestions: Retained as an anonymous tally so the dictionary can be reviewed over time
• Analytics Data: Automatically deleted after 14 months
• Crash Reports: Deleted after 90 days

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure authentication protocols, regular security audits, and limited access to personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

• You can request a copy of your personal data
• You can request correction of inaccurate data

B. Opt-Out Options

• Ads: Disable personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings
• Analytics: Opt-out through your device settings
• Communications: Unsubscribe from promotional emails

C. Canada — PIPEDA & Provincial Laws

If you're in Canada, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Understand how your data is being used

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we've collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the Services. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your Swipple account and data, email us at support@timbymobile.com with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Include your account email or username so we can identify your account.

What Gets Deleted

• Deleted Immediately: Your account profile, email address, username, and all associated game data (scores, match history, stats)
• Deleted Within 30 Days: Any remaining cached or backup copies of your data
• Analytics Data: Automatically deleted after 14 months
• Crash Reports: Deleted after 90 days

What Gets Kept

We retain only the minimum data necessary for legal compliance:

• Your deletion request record: Kept for 1 year to prove we honored your request
• Leaderboard rankings (if any): May be retained as anonymized historical data (not linked to your identity)
• Word suggestions: The anonymous word tally is retained, as it contains no information identifying you. The record linking your account to a suggestion is deleted with your account.

Response Time

We will process your account deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email.

Note: Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your game data or access any services associated with your account.
